Our Company’s History

Prior to starting Ideal Precision Roofing, company owner and president Michael Munk served in the United States Army. While stationed at Fort Benning, Mike was fortunate to meet his wife, Paige, who was born and raised in Columbus, Georgia. They have three boys: Tyler, Trevor and Carter. Michael is proud to have served, and he feels a strong connection to the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces. He is dedicated to helping veterans in his community.

Founding Member of the United Association of Storm Restoration Contractors

Storm restoration was Mike’s first introduction to the undesirable side of the construction industry. After witnessing the dishonest practices of hundreds of out-of-state roofing contractors, Mike helped establish the United Association of Storm Restoration Contractors. This nonprofit organization was founded to help protect the interest of consumers from the poor practices of dishonest contractors who use high-pressure tactics to trick Americans out of their hard-earned money.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ideal Precision Roofing provides phenomenal customer service when it matters most. I found myself in a really tight spot with my roof right before heading out of town. James, Jeff, and Josh V. came out promptly, secured the roof, and gave me total peace of mind while I was away. On top of their fast and professional response, they are proudly veteran-friendly, which means a lot. Finding a team this responsive and dependable is rare. Thank you guys for the outstanding work!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. You never know what you're going to get whenever you begin conversations with a new contractor. I could not have hoped for a better roofer to arrive at my door than Mr. Jeff Beasley. He feels like a trusted friend immediately, and you get the sense that he genuinely cares about doing what is best for you. As long as he is around, I do not intend to give business to any other roofer other than Ideal Precision Roofing.

I hired them after a bad experience with a different contractor. The diagnosis that I received from Jeff made a lot of sense, and the ultimate price point was not as alarming as I had feared. Even though there was some more severe damage found whenever the work began, the cost was still kept at a reasonable rate, and I feel confident that the issue was properly addressed.

Working with Jeff and Ideal Precision Roofing was such a refreshing experience, and it has restored my faith that there are still contractors who put the customer first.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Arturo came out to inspect a possible leak and was able to identify flaws with the flashing install. He did a quick patch up and the issue was resolved on the spot, good thing too, it rained again and I didn’t have any issues. Highly recommend Ideal if you have any issues.
